Vermont Health Access Plan (VHAP)

VHAP (Vermont Health Access Plan) is an insurance program for adults (18+) who don’t have health insurance and don't qualify for Medicaid or Medicare. It helps cover the cost of doctor visits, prescriptions, hospital care (including emergency care), tests, x-rays, family planning, mental health and substance abuse services and home health care. Some benefits are not available until you are in a managed care health program. Call 1-800-250-8427, TTY: 1-888-834-7898
