Medicaid

Medicaid is a government health insurance program for Vermonters who are either 65 years of age or older, blind or disabled as well as for children, pregnant women and parents, depending upon eligibility factors. Medicaid covers most medical care and services, such as doctor visits, hospital care, prescriptions, vision and dental care, long-term care in a nursing home or at home and physical therapy.
