The substance abuse and mental health field is constantly changing.  Staff need training in an array of issues, e.g., co-occurring disorders, working in a cost-driven world, and new legal and ethical standards and requirements.  Training resources are often limited.  Clincial supervision is the conrnerstone for staff development and quality assurance.  This course provide a foundation for supervison of personnel.  It is based on the "Blended Model of Clinical Supervision" published in Clincial Supervision in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling, by David Powell.
