This training is designed to orient and assist the professionals entering the role of Social Worker, Resource Coordinator, Supervisor or District Director within the first 6 months of hire. This seminar provides an overview of the knowledge, values and skills needed in the following areas:
- Understand a range of emotional and behavioral outcomes of sexual abuse.
- Explore dynamics and characteristics of incestuous families.
- Identify characteristics and behavioral changes of children and youth who have been sexually abused.
- Learn healthy and helpful ways to work with children and youth who have a history of being sexual abuse victims.
