This training is designed to orient and assist the professionals entering the role of social worker, resource coordinator, supervisor or district director within the first six months of hire. This seminar provides an overview of the knowledge values and skills needed in the following areas:
- Exploring values and principles of social work practice
- Examining a practice framework to support children & families
- Identifying worker’s practice in using family decision making models
