This training is designed to orient and assist the professionals entering the role of Social Worker, Resource Coordinator, Supervisor or District Director within the first 6 months of hire. This seminar provides an overview of the knowledge, values and skills needed in the following areas:
- Identify the ethical and legal basis for comprehensive case planning
- Clarify case plan goal identification and how the goal relates to the overall plan of services
- Prioritize issues to be addressed by the case plan
- Learn components of effective team building
- Identify and develop clear, measurable goals and strategies for various treatment issues

Directions: I-89 Exit 10, to Route 100 South to Waterbury, left at stop sign onto Route 2 East, right at second light at the North Entrance of the State Office Complex. Stanley Hall is the first large brick building on the left.
