This training is an overview of state government with an emphasis on how various departments and divisions and some of our community and non-AHS partners work with ESD. Programs included for discussion include Health Care, Reach Up, General Assistance and Emergency Assistance, Food and Nutrition Program (formerly called Food Stamps), Supplemental and Crisis Fuel,  Essential Person, Lifeline and Link Up. General information is provided about how we determine eligibility, process changes, use rule books, conduct reviews, fair hearings and computer updates.
 
 
Audience:    This orientation training is a prerequisite for all ESD staff, ESD community partners and ESD contracted staff who will work with ESD programs. This two-day training is open to other new workers in DCF on a space-available basis.
