This intensive six-day training provides an in-depth view of the federal and state rules governing the processing of applications for health care programs offered by the state of Vermont.  The health care programs include SSI-related Medicaid, ANFC-related Medicaid, VHAP, VHAP-Pharmacy, VScript, VScript-Expanded, VPharm and Healthy Vermonters.  Trainees learn to process health care eligibility by applying the rules to scenarios provided in the training.  The training is currently offered every other month. Please seek supervisor approval before signing up for this training.  You must register by email at HRDtraining@ahs.state.vt.us
 
 
Audience:   This training is for new Economic Services Division staff, particularly Benefit Programs Specialists who process health care applications in the Health Access Eligibility Unit and district offices.
