Heidi Tringe is the Agency of Human Services Communications Director, overseeing external and internal communications for the agency, as well as legislative affairs when the General Assembly is in session. A native of Montpelier, Vermont, Tringe spent ten years in Washington, D.C. working for, among others, U.S. Senator Jim Jeffords (I-VT), the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Tringe returned to Vermont in 2005 and has been in her current position since January, 2006.
